CVC & Collectables presents a $10 National Currency issued by Lawton, Oklahoma Type-1 graded by PMG a 25 Very Fine. National currency was issued to improve the economic situation during the great depression era. Each national bank had the ability to print it’s national currency with its ability to be spent on goods and services to boost the economy. While banks would print currency they could only print 90% of the total amount of treasury bonds deposited, but only banks with a federal charter had this ability.
