Historical Significance
Wyoming was the 44th coin released in the 50 State Quarters Program. Its design pairs the familiar bucking horse emblem with the phrase “The Equality State,” a reference to Wyoming’s leading role in extending voting rights to women, giving the coin appeal well beyond standard State Quarter collectors.
Collectibility
This silver proof issue was struck as part of the 2007 State Quarters Silver Proof Set. With its lower mintage than the clad proof version, 90% silver composition, and highly recognizable western design, it remains a popular addition to modern U.S. silver proof sets and complete State Quarter runs.
