  • Depicts a 1930s-era assembly line with auto workers lowering an automobile cab into place.

  • Inscriptions include “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “MICHIGAN,” and “AUTO ASSEMBLY LINE.”

  • Designed by Ron Sanders, Artistic Infusion Program (AIP) Designer, and sculpted by John P. McGraw, Mint Medallic Artist.

• Obverse (Head) Design:

  • Features a dramatic representation of the Statue of Liberty in profile.​

  • Inscriptions are “IN GOD WE TRUST” and “$1.”
