CV Coins & Collectibles presents the Stamp Mill Gold Gulch 10 Nuggets California, San Diego issued for the San Diego Exposition more specifically for the Gold Gulch exhibit. Which took place from 1935 through 1936 in the area now known as Balboa Park in San Diego, California, also the site of the 1915 Exposition. The Gold Gulch exhibit was located between the “Casa de Balboa” and “Pepper Grove,” southeast of the Spreckles Organ Pavilion. Gold Gulch charged no admission, but its shops and attractions did. The 1, 5, 10 Nuggets scrip issued were for use only in this California gold rush exhibit. No redeemable value for these scrips.
