Description
First-year Proof for the beloved Walking Liberty series (1916–1947), designed by Adolph A. Weinman. Proof Walkers were made only from 1936–1942 at Philadelphia, and 1936 has the lowest Proof mintage of the run. The design—Liberty striding toward the rising sun and a powerful eagle on reverse—later inspired the U.S. Silver Eagle. This PR66 example shows brilliant mirrored fields and frosted devices, offering registry-level eye appeal and strong demand among early Proof U.S. silver collectors.

EF-20 Extremely Fine- LIBERTY entirely sharp. Scroll edges and clasp distinct.
AU-50 About Uncirculated- Slight trace of wear on Liberty’s breast and knees, and on eagle’s head, claws, and wing tops.
MS-60 Uncirculated- No Trace of wear. Light blemishes.
MS-63 Choice Uncirculated- Some distracting contact marks or blemishes in prim focal areas. Impaired luster possible.
