Historical Note
Released on August 2, 2002, the Indiana quarter was the 19th coin issued in the series. The 19 stars symbolize Indiana as the 19th state, and the “1816” inscription reflects Indiana’s admission date of December 11, 1816.

With a Philadelphia mintage of 362,600,000, the 2002-P Indiana is a readily available album and roll coin, while truly clean, gem-grade examples are much tougher.
