The U.S. Mint’s on-sale date for Glacier quarter bags and rolls was April 4, 2011. The coin honors Glacier National Park, established in 1910 after conservation advocacy led to federal protection under President Taft.
Collectibility
The 2011-P Glacier quarter is a popular album coin with a reported mintage of 30,400,000. The U.S. Mint also issued Glacier designs in proof formats and as a separate 5-ounce silver coin, but this listing is for the standard Philadelphia circulation strike.
