Product Details

The Type 3 Indian Head Gold Dollar was minted by the United States from 1856 to 1889. Designed by James B. Longacre, this coin features Liberty wearing a Native American headdress on the obverse and a wreath encircling the denomination and date on the reverse. Composed of 90% gold and 10% copper, it contains 0.048375 troy ounces of gold, measures 15 mm in diameter, and weighs 1.672 grams.
