Design
Obverse: Features John Flanagan’s enduring portrait of George Washington, based on the design used on the Washington Quarter since 1932.

About Acadia National Park
Established in 1916, Acadia National Park protects nearly 50,000 acres of breathtaking coastal scenery on Maine’s Mount Desert Island and surrounding areas. The park is renowned for its granite cliffs, forested mountains, scenic carriage roads, and iconic lighthouses. Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse, featured on the coin’s reverse, remains one of the most photographed landmarks in Maine and serves as a symbol of the state’s maritime heritage.
Collectibility
With a final collector mintage of only 14,978 pieces, the 2012-P Acadia ranks among the lower-mintage issues in the America the Beautiful 5 oz series. Its attractive lighthouse design, strong collector demand, and original U.S. Mint packaging make it a highly desirable addition for both ATB collectors and silver enthusiasts.
