Dansco Coin Albums have long been trusted companions for both seasoned numismatists and novice coin collectors. The Eisenhower Dollars 1971-1978 Dansco Album is specifically designed to hold and showcase Eisenhower dollars minted during that period.

This album comes in a 5/8″ binder, providing ample space to accommodate up to 24 coins. It includes 2 Dansco pages (series: 7176-1 to 7176-2), with each page dedicated to holding and displaying all Eisenhower dollars minted from 1971 to 1978.

Engraved by Frank Gasparro, these coins feature President Dwight D. Eisenhower’s portrait on the obverse and an eagle landing on the moon on the reverse. The collector’s versions were struck in 40% silver, while the circulation issues were made of copper and nickel.

It’s important to note that no Eisenhower coins were issued in 1975, and silver clad coins were no longer minted after 1974. However, a special coin was launched in 1976, featuring the Liberty Bell and the moon on the reverse. From 1977 to 1978, the reverse design returned to the eagle landing on the moon.

Eisenhower coins minted in silver weigh 24.59 grams, while those made of copper and nickel weigh 22.68 grams. All Eisenhower dollars measure 38.1 mm in diameter. These coins were produced at the Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco Mints.

Dansco Coin Albums are renowned for their durable construction and user-friendly features. The pages are attached with metal screws, allowing for effortless addition and replacement. Whether you’re an experienced collector or just starting your coin collection, Dansco Coin Albums provide a reliable and organized way to preserve and showcase your Eisenhower dollars.
