About the 2026 Morgan Dollar
The Morgan Dollar was originally designed by U.S. Mint Chief Engraver George T. Morgan and struck from 1878 through 1904 and again in 1921. For 2026, the U.S. Mint created this special Enhanced Uncirculated edition to commemorate the Semiquincentennial of the United States. The combination of the historic Morgan design, one-year dual date, and Liberty Bell privy distinguishes this issue from other modern Morgan Dollars.
