Design

The obverse features John Flanagan’s classic portrait of George Washington. The reverse showcases the iconic Zia Sun Symbol over a topographical outline of New Mexico, accompanied by the nickname “Land of Enchantment.” The Zia symbol represents the sacred significance of the number four in Zia Pueblo culture, symbolizing the four directions, seasons, times of day, and stages of life.

Collectibility
