Design
The reverse features the sea caves of Devils Island, one of the most iconic attractions within Apostle Islands National Lakeshore. A kayaker paddles through the waters of Lake Superior while the rugged sandstone cliffs and formations showcase the area’s remarkable natural landscape.
The obverse displays the familiar portrait of George Washington found throughout the America the Beautiful series.
