The obverse displays the portrait of George Washington found on all America the Beautiful quarter-dollar issues.

Collectibility
The San Antonio Missions issue stands out as one of the most historically significant releases in the America the Beautiful series. Its distinctive Spanish Colonial-inspired design, connection to Texas history, and relatively low collector mintage make it a favorite among ATB collectors, Texas enthusiasts, and those interested in early American and Spanish colonial heritage.
