On November 12, 2025, the U.S. Mint held a ceremonial final strike of the circulating Lincoln cent at Philadelphia, ending a 232-year production run that began in the 1790s. After that point, cents were suspended for circulation due to their high production cost; only limited collector (numismatic) versions may continue.

That makes the 2025 Lincoln cent in this Uncirculated Set the last date of the U.S. penny for circulation, captured here in a premium Mint finish alongside the year’s other circulating denominations.
